Willma K. Holliday
 
FAYETTEVILLE - Willma K. Craigo Bibb "Billie" Holliday, 88, died Monday, May 
17, 1999, in Fayetteville following a short illness. 
 
Born March 14, 1911, at Cannelton, she was the daughter of the late Icem Levi 
and Louisa Ann Lanham Craigo. 
 
Mrs. Holliday was a homemaker and a member of Fayetteville United Methodist 
Church and a member and the past president of Fayetteville United Methodist 
Women. 
 
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred C. Bibb on Oct. 29, 
1957; her second husband, John L. Holliday on May 25, 1989; a son, Alfred 
Cary Bibb Jr. on April 17, 1949; three brothers, Warren, Otto and Romie 
Craigo; and three sisters, Gertrude Fauber, Louvina Nickoson and Elizabeth 
Shorter. 
 
Survivors include a son, Robert Bibb and his wife, Judy, of Port Republic, 
Md.; a daughter, Ann Bibb Covington of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, 
Angela Carte and her husband, John, of Huntington, Douglas Covington II and 
his wife, Shelly, of Marion, Va., and Carey Parkes Bibb of Port Republic.; a 
great-grandson, John Wesley Carte III of Huntingtoin; a sister, Lottie Craigo 
Semon of Fayetteville; nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Viola Cox. 
 
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Fayetteville United Methodist Church with 
the Rev. Gordon Humphries officiating. Burial will follow in Huse Memorial 
Park, Fayetteville. 
 
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. today at Dodd-Payne-Hess Funeral Home, 
Fayetteville.
