Jacqueline F. "Jackie" King

Jacqueline F. "Jackie" King, 82, of Cross Lanes died Tuesday, July 22, 2003, at home after a sudden illness.

Mrs. King attended Shepherd's Memorial Church and was the church financial secretary for over 25 years. She was a legal secretary for the law firm of Gilbert and Love with 40 years of service. She retired from the law firm of Phillip D. Gaujot.

She is survived by her husband, Charles W. King of Cross Lanes; sisters, Helen McCutcheon of Cross Lanes and Gerry Boggess of Charleston; nieces, Carol Ross of Cross Lanes and Linda Stover of Given; nephews, Robert Munday

of Charleston and Gary Boggess of Teays Valley; several great-nieces and nephews.

Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, Cross Lanes, with the Rev. David White, Pastor of Oak Hill Baptist Church officiating. Entombment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Kanawha Hospice Care at 1143 Dunbar Ave. Dunbar, WV 25064.

Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, Cross Lanes, is in charge of arrangements.
