Edsel A. Craigo Sr.
BLACK BETSY - Edsel A. "Carbide" Craigo Sr., 71, of Black
Betsy,
formerly of Lorain, Ohio, died Sept. 17, 1997, at home after a long
illness.
He was a retired millwright from U.S. Steel with 31 years of service.
Surviving: wife, Betty; daughters, Louanna Higginbotham of
Nitro,
Sharon Leighton of Clendenin, Peggy Phillips and Ramona Muck, both of
Lorain; sons, Edsel A. Craigo Jr. and Ricky Craigo, both of Lorain,
Gary Craigo of Arizona; mother, Naomi Craigo of Black Betsy; brothers,
Denzil Craigo of Poca, Dale Craigo of St. Albans, Oshel Craigo of
Winfield; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
There will be no service. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m.
today at
Gatens Funeral Home, Poca. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests
donations to Kanawha Hospice Care Inc., 1143 Dunbar Ave., Dunbar,
W.Va. 25064.
