Charles S. Craigo was one of three men that lost their lives aboard the Steamboat “Joe Cook” 31 March 1947 when the boiler exploded. The other two men were Robert Leslie Melton and Ernest McCoy.
Robert L. Melton was a brother of the boat’s captain, Rex Melton.
