Although this wedding announcement is brief, it needs correction. First, Opal's husband was Emery Eugene Crago. Second, Opal's mother Victoria (Shamblin) Derrick past away in 1929 and to the best of my knowledge never lived in Montgomery. Opal's father Benjamin Franklin (Frank) Derrick did live temporally in Montgomery after accepting work in the coal mines. Frank Derrick was a farmer most of his adult life, and lived on Manila Creek Road in Putnam County, West Virginia.
