Notes:
The top copy of the marriage license is very hard to read.
The bottom copy is only a little better when it comes to the Minister's Endorsement.
But if you look at the bottom copy you will see that Joseph H. Harmon married James Franklin Crago and Amazetta Catherine Lanham on 11 Nov 1886.
It says that the marriage took place at the residence of Wm Arthurs. I was always under the impression that a double wedding took place at the residence of the Arius Lanham, the father of the two brides. The other bride being Frances Lanham whom wed James Beverly Craigo.
I now know that is not the case. According to the marriage license James Beverly Craigo married Amelia Frances Lanham 3 February 1886 at the home of James Crago.
