 WALTER BRUSTON CRAGO (JAMES FRANKLIN, WILLIAM H., GEORGE) was born 03 December 1883 in Paradise, Putnam County,  W.Va., and died 14 March 1965 in Dunbar, Kanawha County,  W.Va..  He married ROSA MAUDE BEAVER 18 June 1903 in Putnam Co, W.Va., daughter of CHARLES BEAVER and REBECCA BURRIS  She was born 06 August 1885 in Putnam Co., and died 23 July 1959 in Dunbar, Kanawha County, W.Va.. Burial: 26 July 1959, Grandview Memorial Park - Dunbar, Kanawha County,  W.Va.

                    i.    EMERY EUGENE CRAGO, b. 21 April 1904, Plymouth, Putnam County, W.Va.; d. 21 October 1975, Thomas Memorial Hospital-South Charleston, Kanawha County,  W.Va..

 

ii. CLARA EDITH CRAGO, b. 22 July 1906; d. 08 September 1998, Valley Health Village- South Charleston, WV.

 

                  iii.    SHELLY LEE CRAGO, b. 05 July 1909; d. 07 August 1968, St. Petersburg, Fl.

 

                  iv.    HAROLD RAY CRAIGO, b. Private

 

Notes:

For many years I believed that Walter's middle name was Bruster. The middle name Bruster was on Walter's application for Social Security.

And I assumed that it was filled out in his own handwriting. After finding the marriage license and seeing that his middle name was listed as Bruston, I telephoned Walter's son Harold Ray Craigo

and he confirmed that the marriage license is correct.

Harold further stated that Bruston is pronounced Bruceton
